Open Mic Pitch Night

Open Mic Pitch Night

Open Mic Pitch Night

Do you have a story to tell, a product to launch, funds to raise or a cause to create awareness of?

On the 3rd Friday of each month, we open the doors and the stage to local entrepreneurs to give their pitch, and invite the community to come and listen. Whether you are an entrepreneur, an investor, a business enthusiast, a corporate employee or anyone in between, you are welcome to join us as part of the audience to hear the pitches.

Want to pitch?

We have 6x 5-minute spots available each month.

Three spots are available to be pre-booked by Members, so you can be guaranteed time with the microphone.

Another three spots are available on the night, for anyone who wants to speak. These are on a first come, first served basis…so get there early (sign up sheet will be available from 4:30pm)

Pitches will start at 5pm and conclude by 6pm, with a short intermission.

There is no judging, no criteria and no rules (other than common courtesy of course).

Time for a few questions will follow each pitch.

Slides are optional, we recommend creating slides in 16:9 format to best suit the screen.

For the pitchers and the audience, we’ll provide a drink & some snacks to help you relax.

We will probably go out for dinner somewhere nearby afterward, you are welcome to join if you are available (dinner is not included in your ticket price)

Startup Onramp aims to give startup founders the knowledge, skills and contacts they need to get their startup through its first year and avoid making predictable mistakes that lead to failure. It leverages the experience of local successful entrepreneurs and investors.

Startup Onramp gratefully acknowledges the financial support of the Queensland Government through Advance Queensland.

To register your interest in being part of the next Startup Onramp cohort, contact Joy Taylor 0407584987 or David Masefield 0422590552 or email bookings@canvascoworking.com.au
