Canvas Coworking Inc. is a not-for-profit Incorporated Association. Our meetings, which discuss the strategy for growth of the coworking community and the direction of the association, are held on the 3rd Thursday of the Even Months (February, April, June, August, October and December). The meetings are open to anyone to attend, though only Financial Members are entitled to vote on the decisions being made. Membership is available via www.canvascoworking.com.au

The April General Meeting will be held on 16th April 2020 at 12:30pm. 

As Canvas Coworking Space is temporarily closed due to measures to combat Covid-19, the usual meeting will take place VIRTUALLY ONLY.

Join us for our AGM to be part of the selection of our Committee for 2019-2020, and the conversation about the direction of the space.

This year’s Annual General Meeting for Canvas Coworking Inc. will be held on Thursday 17th October 2019 at 12:30pm. We will hold a short General Meeting immediately followed by the AGM.

Canvas Coworking Inc. is a not-for-profit Incorporated Association. The meetings are open to anyone to attend, though only Financial Members are entitled to vote on the decisions being made, or nominate to hold a Committee position. Canvas Coworking Inc. is a not-for-profit Incorporated Association. Our meetings, which discuss the strategy for growth of the coworking community and the direction of the association, are held on the 3rd Thursday of the Even Months (February, April, June, August, October and December). The meetings are open to anyone to attend, though only Financial Members are entitled to vote on the decisions being made. Membership is available via www.canvascoworking.com.au

At the last Special General Meeting (May 29th 2019) we passed a special resolution at a general meeting to adopt the new membership options. We then submitted this information to the Office of Fair Trading, which governs Incorporated Associations in QLD. Unfortunately, despite having phoned the OFT twice before submitting the paperwork, it seems we did not in fact need to submit a formal request to change our model rules at all. So now that we have the official word from the OFT, we need to rescind the request to change our model rules via another member vote at a Special General Meeting!

Therefore we request your presence either in person or online via Zoom at 12:15pm on Monday 22nd July 2019. This will be a very short meeting — 15 minutes — just enough time to vote on this one agenda item.

At the last General Meeting (April 18th 2019) it was proposed to review and improve the membership inclusions.

Today we drafted a proposal of the changes and we need to pass a special resolution at a general meeting to adopt the changes.
