Mailchimp for Beginners: Lunch & Learn

Mailchimp for Beginners: Lunch & Learn

Mailchimp for Beginners is your opportunity to set up a Mailchimp account for the first time!  This is your introduction to the world’s largest marketing automation platform. It’s like a second brain that helps millions of customers—from small e-commerce shops to big online retailers—find their audience, engage their customers, and build their brand.

Do you collect your client’s email addresses, and save them in a spreadsheet, never to be seen again?  Perhaps you send your client’s a carefully crafted newsletter via an email distribution list, and have no idea if they receive it, or read it?  Do you comply with all of the rules and regulations when sending email?

What we will do:

  • set up your Mailchimp account
  • import your client’s details
  • create a simple newsletter

What you need to bring:

  • your email address. The basic Mailchimp package is free and is quite comprehensive.
  • your list of client’s to add, preferably in a spreadsheet (like Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets). If you don’t have a list yet, that is okay.  You can add clients or potential clients later.
  • your laptop
  • lunch
