What is Mentor in the House?

Mentor in the House sessions are available, thanks to the generosity of these experts in our community, who see the value in supporting up and coming entrepreneurs to make informed decisions during the hectic early stages of starting a new business.

By accessing their knowledge and experience, during a 30 minute personal conversation, you are able to get suggestions on how to prepare yourself for the next steps in your business development. This could include which products, tools & techniques can help you move forward more smoothly and which services or platforms to access to save you time and money during these lean early days.

Each of our Mentors are available free of charge during this session. Future conversations or actions (if any) are then negotiated between you and the Mentor.

Canvas Coworking is not involved with any future activity that results from a mentoring session, nor do we take any commission.

Book your spot to make sure you don’t miss out. You can also just show up on the day and wait for next available time, but a spot cannot be guaranteed unless you book.

This is not a workshop, this is a one-to-one conversation about you & your business. Please only book a time-slot for when you are confident you can be here.

Cost: FREE for Members of Canvas Coworking Inc.

Web Design and Graphic Design Mentor – Leisa Clark

Leisa Clark is the Director and Lead Designer of Retrohex and joins Canvas Coworking as our web and graphic design mentor.

Retrohex are specialists in web design and graphic design, where their focus is on funking up the design. They create beautiful logos, helping startup founders to find their look and communicate it visually, and make sure that their websites are not only stunning, but functional and provide an exceptional user experience.

As well as designing and websites, Leisa is also super savvy with social media and can help you decide which platform/s to be on, and how to best connect with your audience using digital marketing strategies and techniques.

Outside of creating funking good designs, Leisa loves to spend time with her husband and son in the garden, finding funky food trucks and living a wholesome country lifestyle.

A few of the many topics that you could discuss with Leisa are:

What to think about when creating your startup’s brand?

How to create a logo that speaks to your customers?

Whether you need a website or not, and what it needs to do?

Which social media platforms to be on?

What to think about web design, before you start building your website?
