WordPress is one of the biggest Content Management Systems in the world with big ambitions. Do you use it? Do you want to improve your skills?
Whether you are a beginner, know a fair bit or know it all, you are welcome to come along and ask questions and share what you know
…about WordPress. In a casual atmosphere, come and meet others who have an interest in WordPress as a platform for websites and blogging.
Each month, we will ask you what you need help with, so bring your list of questions or tasks that you are stuck on, along with your passwords (and laptop if you have one)…and we will do our best to ensure you leave having made progress towards knowing more about the topic and wherever possible, having resolved the issue.
Everyone uses WordPress for their own reasons. For some, it is to provide information to the world, for others it is to sell their products or services to customers, and for others it may be just to record memories. Regardless of your ‘why’, you are welcome to come along and be part of this supportive community.
Some months, we will touch on a specific topic, such a image compression, SEO, shopping carts or APIs. If you feel that you know a lot about a topic that other WordPress users would like to learn more about, you are welcome to propose a topic to present on at an upcoming meetup. Connect with the team from Canvas Coworking to discuss the options and requirements.
3 reasons to come along to WordPress Meetup
* learn something new about the WordPress platform
* find someone to help you overcome frustrating obstacles on your journey
* help someone else by sharing your knowledge and experiences
This month’s topic
