How to write a media release
Friday 31 July 2020
Onsite at Canvas Coworking OR Online (live) via Zoom
Sharing some special news or an announcement for your business is very exciting. You want to get the word out as far and wide as possible. You could shout it from the rooftops…or you could get the media to do that for you.
Knowing how to write a media release is a skill that every business owner and startup entrepreneur needs in their kit bag. It shouldn’t be a dreaded task or something that takes hours to complete. Also, it needs to be done in a way that makes the person you send it to actually take notice and publish it in their newspaper, magazine, television program or radio show.
During this week’s session Mary will introduce the following topics:
- the basic elements of a 100-word media release
- the process used to write up a media release from concept
- how to use keywords
